Hook.F.Friedelane triterpenoids were isolated and indentified by spectroscopies as fiedelan-3 -ol, fiedelan -3-yl acetate, friedelan-3-one-21-ol along with a common -sitosterol and ursolic acid from the leaves. The findings showed that the triterpenoids as well as tains (known to be quite abundant) of the plant may be used for pharmacological purposes-treating certain disease
